Pneumonia Estafilocócica secundária a artrite séptica
Objetivo: Relatar como o caso de um paciente com artrite séptica pós trauma contuso em articulação coxofemoral esquerda evoluiu por via hematogênica para um quadro de pneumonia por S. aureus já com complicações, como as pneumatoceles. Além de relatar sobre as possíveis consequências de uma infecção pulmonar decorrente à uma artrite séptica, diagnosticar o possível agente e abordar os microrganismos mais comuns nessa patologia com enfoque no S. Aureus, prevenir complicações e expor o melhor tratamento. Relato de caso: Trata-se de um relato de caso a partir de atividades realizadas pelos discentes do curso de medicina em atendimentos na área da pediatria. Por meio de coleta de informações (anamnese) fornecidas pelo responsável, pela criança, exame físico, exames laboratoriais e de imagem. Conclusão: A partir destas atividades os acadêmicos puderam realizar discussões reflexivas em relação a importância do diagnóstico e tratamento precoce das complicações do agente Staphylococcus aureus (S. Aureus), que após a infecção pulmonar por via hematogênica pode causar diversas complicações, como: empiema pleural, pneumatoceles até um possível pneumotórax. Sendo assim, esse estudo será de extremo auxílio para diagnosticar, tratar e prevenir tais afecções.

Abstract:
Objective: To report how the case of a patient with septic arthritis after blunt trauma to the left hip joint evolved hematogenously to a picture of pneumonia caused by S. aureus, which already had complications, such as pneumatoceles. In addition to reporting on the possible consequences of a pulmonary infection resulting from septic arthritis, diagnosing the possible agent and addressing the most common microorganisms in this pathology with a focus on S. Aureus, preventing complications and providing the best treatment. Case report: This is a case report based on activities carried out by medical students in pediatric care. Through the collection of information (anamnesis) provided by the person responsible for the child, physical examination, laboratory and imaging tests. Results: From these activities, students were able to conduct reflective discussions regarding the importance of early diagnosis and treatment of complications of the agent staphylococcus aureus (S. Aureus), which after pulmonary infection via the hematogenous route can cause various complications, such as: pleural empyema, pneumatoceles even a possible pneumothorax. Therefore, this study will be extremely helpful in diagnosing, treating and preventing such conditions.
