PERSPECTIVA DE LA LECTURA COMO COMPETENCIA BÁSICA EN ESTUDIOS DE NIVEL SUPERIOR
La lectura, es sin lugar a duda, una competencia básica en la educación. La investigación que se presenta a continuación gira en la perspectiva de cómo la lectura figura en el proceso de enseñanza-aprendizaje desde la visión del estudiante como actor principal del mismo en estudios de nivel superior. La metodología se divide en tres fases principales: el estado del arte que envuelve los conceptos principales de la lectura, especialmente como parte del aprendizaje; el análisis de campo, que consiste en el diseño y aplicación de una encuesta que sea capaz de brindar datos relevantes identificados en la etapa anterior; y, por último, la presentación de hallazgos, que muestra un resumen del análisis crítico de la información recabada. Es importante mencionar que el estudio destaca las fortalezas y debilidades de la lectura en el aprendizaje y del quehacer del estudiante ante un contexto particular, dejando un amplio campo de futuros estudios que modifican el escenario analizado con factores externos (la cultura, la economía, la sociedad entre otros) e indudablemente que impactan en los resultados obtenidos.

Abstract:
Reading is, without a doubt, a basic skill in education. The research presented below revolves around the perspective of how reading figures in the teaching-learning process from the perspective of the student as the main actor of the same in higher level studies. The methodology is divided into three main phases: the state of the art that involves the main concepts of reading, especially as part of learning; field analysis, which consists of the design and application of a survey that is capable of providing relevant data identified in the previous stage; and, finally, the presentation of findings, which shows a summary of the critical analysis of the information collected. It is important to mention that the study highlights the strengths and weaknesses of reading in learning and of the student's work in a particular context, leaving a wide field for future studies that modify the scenario analyzed with external factors (culture, economy, society among others) and undoubtedly have an impact on the results obtained.
