PERFIL EPIDEMIOLÓGICO DE ESTUDANTES COM VULNERABILIDADE À SÍNDROME DA IMUNODEFICIENCIA ADQUIRIDA (SIDA) EM UMA ESCOLA PÚBLICA DO MUNICÍPIO DE BARCARENA – PARÁ
O estudo realizado com 143 estudantes de 13 a 18 anos teve como objetivo a verificação do conhecimento dos estudantes sobre a prevenção, transmissão, sinais e sintomas. Estudo de abordagem quantitativa e descritiva, que foi utilizado para quantificar opiniões e dados na forma de coleta de informações. Objetivo: Caracterizar o perfil epidemiológico de vulnerabilidade à SIDA/AIDS de estudantes da Escola Estadual de Ensino Médio. Método: Estudo de abordagem quantitativa e descritiva, participou da pesquisa 143 de estudantes que possuem uma idade entre 13 à 18 anos, de ambos os sexos, alunos matriculados na Escola Estadual de Ensino Médio Prof. José Maria Machado Campos localizado no município de Barcarena. A princípio os dados foram tabulados em planilha eletrônica do Microsoft Excel 2007, posteriormente, analisados por meio de estatística descritiva simples pelo programa Bioestat 5.0. Resultados: Estudantes vêm se relacionando sexualmente cada vez mais cedo, que com (>10 anos) 4,9% dos jovens já teriam mantido sua primeira relação sexual e que um percentual considerável 28,7% tiveram sua primeira relação sexual, na faixa etária de 10 a 15 anos. Conclusão: Com esse presente estudo observou-se vários motivos que levam os adolescentes a ficarem vulneráveis a SIDA, um dos principais motivos é falta de informação, ou informação mal repassada, ai que entra o papel do enfermeiro em criar métodos educativos, e preventivos para a mudança dessa realidade.

Abstract:
The study of 143 students aged 13 to 18 years was aimed at verifying students' knowledge about prevention, transmission, signs and symptoms. A quantitative and descriptive approach, which was used to quantify opinions and data in the form of information collection.
Objective: To characterize the epidemiological profile of AIDS / AIDS vulnerability of students of the State High School. Method: A quantitative and descriptive study, 143 students of age between 13 and 18 years old, of both sexes, enrolled in the State High School Prof. José Maria Machado Campos located in the municipality of Barcarena.
