PERFIL EPIDEMIOLÓGICO DAS DOENÇAS CEREBROVASCULARES DO ESTADO DA PARAÍBA NO PERÍODO DE 2014 A 2018
A transição demográfica sofrida atualmente tem elevado consideravelmente os custos econômicos e sociais da população. OBJETIVO: Analisar o perfil epidemiológico dos casos de doenças cerebrovasculares, no estado da Paraíba no período de 2014 a 2018 e correlacionar os achados da produção científica com os dados secundários. METODOLOGIA: Estudo realizado em duas etapas. A primeira teve uma abordagem quantitativa e descritiva, nas bases de dados LILACS, MEDLINE e BDENF- ENF, através do site da Biblioteca Virtual de Saúde, utilizando os descritores “Idoso", “Acidente Vascular Cerebral” e “Envelhecimento” e o operador booleano “AND”, incluindo artigos do período de 2014 a 2018, no idioma português. A segunda etapa configurou-se em uma pesquisa documental descritiva dos dados de óbitos ocorridos no Estado da Paraíba disponíveis na plataforma do DATASUS, no período de 2014 a 2018 decorrentes de doença cerebrovasculares. RESULTADOS: Obtiveram-se 10 artigos o qual abordaram que a gravidade da patologia está diretamente relacionada ao avançar da idade. Além disso, os artigos abordaram os fatores modificáveis e não modificáveis que contribuem para esse agravamento. Conforme os dados secundários foi notório que 52,47% dos óbitos corresponderam ao sexo feminino, em sua maioria de raça branca e parda, e com faixa etária de 80 anos ou mais. CONCLUSÃO: Em decorrência do envelhecimento da população, há o aumento de doenças cerebrovasculares e consequentemente maiores custos ao poder público. Sendo necessário, portanto, ações de prevenção e promoção a saúde a fim de reduzir as taxas de mortalidade.

Abstract:
The demographic transition currently underway has raised the population's economic and social costs considerably. OBJECTIVE: Analyze the epidemiological profile of cases of cerebrovascular diseases in the state of Paraíba from 2014 to 2018 and to correlate the findings of scientific production with secondary data. METHODOLOGY: Study carried out in two stages. The first had a quantitative and descriptive approach, in the LILACS, MEDLINE and BDENF-ENF databases, through the Virtual Health Library website, using the descriptors “Elderly”, “Stroke” and “Aging” and the Boolean operator “AND”, including articles from the period 2014 to 2018, in Portuguese. The second stage consisted of a descriptive documentary search of the data of deaths in the State of Paraíba available on the DATASUS platform, from 2014 to 2018 resulting RESULTS: 10 articles were obtained which addressed that the severity of the pathology is directly related to advancing age, in addition, the articles addressed the modifiable and non-modifiable factors that contribute to this aggravation. It is notorious that 52.47% of deaths corresponded to females, mostly white and brown, and aged 80 years or older. the aging of the population, there is an increase in cerebrovascular diseases and consequently higher costs to the public power. Therefore, prevention and health promotion actions are necessary in order to reduce mortality rates.
