PERFIL DOS PACIENTES ATENDIDOS PELA EQUIPE DE CUIDADOS PALIATIVOS EM ENFERMARIA DE HOSPITAL DE REFERÊNCIA EM INFECTOLOGIA DE BELO HORIZONTE – MG
Estudo transversal descritivo que teve como objetivo, traçar o perfil de saúde e o plano de cuidados propostos aos pacientes acompanhados pela equipe de cuidados paliativos de um hospital de referência em infectologia em Minas Gerais. Foi realizada análise retrospectiva de banco de dados e histórico de prontuário dos pacientes no período entre março/2017 e junho/2018.A equipe acompanhou um total de 59 pacientes neste período, sendo o diagnóstico primário mais prevalente Síndrome da Imunodeficiência Adquirida (SIDA), secundário ao abandono de tratamento com terapia antirretroviral (TARV). Os objetivos de cuidados foram traçados considerando a demanda individual de cada paciente, que em sua maioria necessitavam de controle de sintomas refratários e acompanhamento psicossocial.

Abstract:
Descriptive cross-sectional study that aimed to outline the health profile and care plan proposed to patients followed by the palliative care team of a reference hospital in infectology in Minas Gerais. A retrospective analysis of the database and history of the patients' records was carried out between March / 2017 and June / 2018.The team followed a total of 59 patients during this period, the most prevalent primary diagnosis being Acquired Immunodeficiency Syndrome (AIDS), secondary to abandoning treatment with antiretroviral therapy (ART). The care objectives were set considering the individual demand of each patient, who mostly needed control of refractory symptoms and psychosocial monitoring.
