PERFIL DO DISCENTE EM SAÚDE NO CONTEXTO DA PANDEMIA DO COVID-19
A UNESCO refere que 87% dos estudantes no mundo sofreram consequências em suas vidas acadêmicas em decorrência da pandemia COVID-19. O ensino em saúde sofreu mudanças que impactaram diretamente na forma de aprender dos alunos. Este estudo objetivou traçar um perfil do aluno de saúde do ensino superior em meio à situação pandêmica. Este estudo é do tipo descritivo, com um método de revisão narrativa realizada na base de dados da Regional da BVS com os seguintes descritores: “aluno, ensino, saúde e COVID- 19”, com operadores booleanos (AND). Foram encontrados 56 artigos e excluídos 40 por não abordarem o perfil do discente do ensino superior em saúde, sendo realizada a revisão narrativa com 16 artigos. Como resultados foram observados que o perfil do discente do ensino superior em saúde inclui a preferência por atividades gamificadas, adaptação parcial às tecnologias de educação à distância, desejam uma grade curricular flexível, temem a queda de rendimento em habilidades clínicas e julgam seu desempenho como inferior ao esperado no ensino online. A maioria dos alunos deseja realização de atividades práticas e espaços virtuais de troca entre pares e querem estratégias de pesquisa orientada em pequenos grupos. Grande parte apresenta um importante quadro de ansiedade e depressão referindo sobrecarga de trabalhos acadêmicos e dificuldades causadas pelo isolamento social, também, observou-se a necessidade das universidades criarem estratégias tecnológicas para reduzir esse impacto psicológico e acadêmico do isolamento social. O estudo concluiu que o perfil do discente acompanha as demandas tecnológicas em alguns aspectos, todavia, evidenciam problemas de saúde mental e adaptação à nova modalidade virtual, com uma preocupação sobre a estrutura curricular e habilidades clínico-práticas. Estes dados são importantes para a compreensão dos novos rumos do ensino em saúde no contexto da pandemia e as repercussões deste momento nas características de aprendizado discente.

Abstract:
UNESCO reports that 87% of students in the world have suffered consequences in their academic lives as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic. Health education underwent changes that directly impacted the way students learn. This study aimed to draw a profile of higher education health students in the midst of a pandemic situation. This study is narrative-descriptive, with a narrative review method performed in the BVS regional database with the following descriptors: “student, teaching, health and COVID-19”, with Boolean operators (AND). 56 articles were found and 40 were excluded for not addressing the profile of higher education students in health, and a narrative review was carried out with 16 articles. The results showed that the student profile of higher education in health includes a preference for gamified activities, partial adaptation to distance education technologies, desire a flexible curriculum, fear the drop in clinical skills performance and judge their performance as inferior expected in online education. Most students want to carry out hands-on activities and virtual spaces for peer exchange and want small group-oriented research strategies. Most of them present an important picture of anxiety and depression referring to the overload of academic work and difficulties caused by social isolation, also, there was a need for universities to create technological strategies to reduce this psychological and academic impact of social isolation. The study concluded that the student profile follows the technological demands in some aspects, however, they show mental health problems and adaptation to the new virtual modality, with a concern about the curricular structure and clinical-practical skills. These data are important for understanding the new directions in health education in the context of the pandemic and the repercussions of this moment on the characteristics of student learning.
