Abstract: This study aims to analyze the benefits perceived by teachers and students in the use of digital media in the educational process. Considering the presence of digital media in the school environment and its growing advancement, we seek to understand how they impact the educational process, benefiting both teachers and students. To this end, we used bibliographic research, including contributions and works by several prominent authors, such as Rodrigues (2025), Moran (2018), Silva (2014), and Lédo (2025). These studies provided a better understanding of the benefits perceived by educators and students regarding the use of digital media. From there, we identified the main digital media available, such as e-learning platforms, audiovisual resources, and online collaboration tools, which provide better personalized teaching and greater interaction between educators and students, and between students and peers, enabling engagement, a diversity of pedagogical strategies, and the possibility of more dynamic assessment, as well as transforming the way we teach and learn.
