PERCEPÇÃO DE ESCOLARES DA REDE PÚBLICA SOBRE O SISTEMA NERVOSO CENTRAL APÓS ATIVIDADE LÚDICO-EDUCATIVA
Introdução. O Desvendando o
Cérebro é uma atividade lúdico-educativa que foi
criada devido a baixa difusão do conhecimento
sobre o Sistema Nervoso Central na população
de estudantes das escolas públicas do estado
de Sergipe. Através de uma melhor instrução
a respeito do tema, a atividade abordou
o processamento das funções sensitivas,
motoras e emocionais do ser humano. Objetivo.
O presente estudo teve como objetivo avaliar
a percepção do conhecimento sobre o sistema
nervoso central para estudantes de escolas
públicas do estado de Sergipe. Método. Foram
realizadas oito visitas mensais em escolas
públicas de Sergipe, com 400 alunos do ensino
fundamental e médio, os quais foram submetidos
às atividades teórico-práticas, como exposição
orientada de peças anatômicas do encéfalo
e montagem de quebra-cabeça gigante do
cérebro, além de avaliações antes e depois da

ação do projeto. Os instrumentos de avaliação, pré e pós atividades, foram idênticos
e compostos por 10 questões objetivas, referentes ao Sistema Nervoso Central, de
modo que as respostas corretas de cada aluno foram pontuadas em uma escala
de 0 a 100. A análise estatística foi realizada através do através do teste t-student,
considerando um nível de significância de p<0,05. Resultados. Observou-se aumento
estatisticamente significativo do desempenho dos alunos (p<0,05) durante o pós-teste
(61%) em relação ao pré-teste (46%), indicando a consolidação das informações
transmitidas durante as ações. Conclusão. Os resultados sugerem que a atividade
lúdico-educativa Desvendando o Cérebro é capaz de facilitar a aprendizagem do
conhecimento neuroanatômico para os alunos da rede pública do estado de Sergipe.

Abstract:
Introduction. “Desvendando o Cérebro” is a ludic-educational activity that
was created due to the low diffusion of knowledge about the Central Nervous System in
the population from public school of the state of Sergipe. Through a better instruction,
this activity aimed to explain the processing functions from humans. Objective. The
study aims to assess the perception of knowledge about the Central Nervous System
to students from public schools placed in Sergipe. Methods. Were performed monthly
visits in public schools from Sergipe, in which 400 students from elementary and high
school participated, who were submitted to activities, as like oriented exposure of
anatomic pieces of the encephalon, a huge puzzle of the brain and were submitted
to assessments that analyzed the activity at the beginning and in the end. The
instruments used, after and before the activities, were identical and made with 10
objective questions, about the Nervous System, in a way that the correct answer of
each student was scored in a scale from 0 to 100. The statistical analysis was made
through the t-student test, considering a significance level of p<0,05. Results. It was
observed a significant statistic increase in the performance (p<0,05) during the after
test (61%) in relation to the before test (46%), showing that the transmitted information
was consolidated. Conclusion. The results of the present study suggest that the ludiceducational
activity “Desvendando o Cérebro” is capable of making easier the process
of learning about the neurological and anatomical knowledge to students from public
schools from Sergipe.
