PANORAMA E OS DESAFIOS DA EDUCAÇÃO À DISTÂNCIA NO BRASIL
O ensino à distância, como uma modalidade de ensino, tem crescido muito nos últimos anos, visto que facilita a inserção de um número elevado de alunos, entretanto, tem gerado certo questionamento, visto que tem gerado também um número grande de evasão dos alunos. Isso porque muitos alunos não se adaptam a metodologia e acabam se desmotivando e desistindo do curso. Diante desse cenário, o objetivo desse artigo é apresentar o panorama e os desafios a serem vencidos na modalidade de Educação à Distância. Como objetivos específicos espera-se apresentar os conceitos e características da Educação à Distância e ilustrar o cenário atual desse tipo de modalidade, com números.

Abstract:
Distance learning, as a teaching modality, has grown a lot in recent years, since it facilitates the insertion of a high number of students, however, it has generated some questioning, since it has also generated a large number of dropouts. students. This is because many students do not adapt to the methodology and end up discouraging and giving up on the course. Given this scenario, the objective of this article is to present the panorama and the challenges to be overcome in the Distance Education modality. As specific objectives it is expected to present the concepts and characteristics of Distance Education and to illustrate the current scenario of this type of modality, with numbers.
