OS IMPACTOS DA PANDEMIA DA COVID-19 NA INTERVENÇÃO DOS/AS ASSISTENTES SOCIAIS: DESAFIOS, IMPASSES E POSSIBILIDADES
Para além de uma crise pontual, a pandemia nos evidenciou os mais graves problemas da sociedade capitalista, onde, grande parcela da população careceu dos seus direitos mais básicos, tais como alimentação, renda, saúde, segurança e habitação. os profissionais em Serviço Social, lidam com as mais diversas desigualdades sociais desde sua gênese, porém, no ano 2020 a crise sanitária causada pelo vírus SARS-CoV-2 ou COVID-19, como é popularmente conhecido, fez a carga de responsabilidades desses profissionais aumentarem ao extremo. Para que seja possível o desenvolvimento de um conhecimento acerca dos impactos que a pandemia da COVID-19 trouxe para o Serviço Social, especialmente, aqueles impactos e desafios no âmbito da intervenção profissional, é imprescindível apreender de que forma essa “intervenção” ocorre, seus motivos, diretrizes e, indubitavelmente, suas concepções ético-políticas, para que então, após feita essas reflexões, seja possível apresentar a realidade da pandemia da COVID-19 e as “novas”, ou melhor, “formas emergenciais” de atendimento e intervenção, buscando pontuar impactos, desafios, limites e possibilidades.

Abstract:
In addition to a specific crisis, the pandemic showed us the most serious problems of capitalist society, where a large part of the population lacked their most basic rights, such as food, income, health, security and housing. Professionals in Social Work have been dealing with the most diverse social inequalities since their genesis, however, in 2020 the health crisis caused by the SARS-CoV-2 virus or COVID-19, as it is popularly known, made these professionals bear the responsibilities increase to the extreme. In order to develop knowledge about the impacts that the COVID-19 pandemic has brought to Social Work, especially those impacts and challenges within the scope of professional intervention, it is essential to understand how this “intervention” occurs, its reasons, guidelines and, undoubtedly, their ethical-political conceptions, so that, after making these reflections, it is possible to present the reality of the COVID-19 pandemic and the “new”, or rather, “emergency forms” of care and intervention , seeking to point out impacts, challenges, limits and possibilities.
