OS EFEITOS DA MICROCORRENTE E DO OLIGOELEMENTO SELÊNIO NAS DISFUNÇÕES TECIDUAIS DA FACE DO TABAGISTA
O tabagismo contribui para a perda
do colágeno e elastina, tornando a pele opaca,
sem viço e desvitalizada. A microcorrente atua
aumentando o transporte ativo nas membranas,
incrementa a elasticidade, promove a
revitalização cutânea. O selênio é antioxidante,
bloqueia as reações do envelhecimento da
pele protegendo as células contra a agressão
dos radicais livres. O objetivo desse estudo
foi comparar os efeitos da microcorrente e do
oligoelemento selênio nas disfunções teciduais
da face do tabagista quando associados e
individualizados. Foram selecionados quinze
voluntários de ambos os sexos, com idade
entre vinte e vinte e cinco anos, avaliados por
meio de anamnese, randomizados e alocados
em cinco grupos. O experimento foi realizado
por quarenta e cinco dias, na Clínica de Estética
do Unisalesiano de Lins/SP, com frequência
de duas sessões semanais. A análise dos
resultados por meio de registos fotográficos
demonstrou uma melhora na coloração, viço,
turgor e uniformização da pele nos grupos
microcorrente associados ao selênio oral e
tópico.

Abstract:
Smoking contributes to the
loss of collagen and elastin, making the skin
opaque, devoid of vitality and devitalized. The
microcurrent acts increasing the active transport
in the membranes, increases the elasticity,
promotes the skin revitalization. The selenium
has antioxidant action, blocks the oxidation and
aging reactions of the skin protecting the cells
against the aggression of free radicals. The
objective of this study was to compare the effects
of the microcurrent and the selenium trace
element on the tissue dysfunctions of the smoker
face when associated and individualized. It was
selected fifteen voluteers of boths genders, between the ages of twenty and twenty-five,
evaluated by means of anamnesis form, randomized and allocated in five groups. The
experiment was carried out for forty five days at the Aesthetic Clinic of Unisalesiano in
Lins state os São Paulo, in a period of two weekly sessions. The analysis of the results
by means of photographic records showed an improvement in the coloration, luster,
turgor and uniformity of the skin in the microcurrent groups associated with oral and
topical selenium.
