OPERAÇÕES E SISTEMAS DE NUMERAÇÃO: UM RELATO DE EXPERIÊNCIA
Este trabalho relata a realização de um minicurso no que teve como tema o estudo dos algoritmos das operações fundamentais da aritmética e como objetivo promover uma reflexão sobre a importância da estrutura dos sistemas de numeração na concepção dos algoritmos dessas operações fundamentais. A metodologia consistiu no estudo das operações realizadas com números representados no sistema de numeração decimal, bem como, de sistemas de numeração com outras bases, diferentes de dez, para verificar como os algoritmos das operações fundamentais funcionam com números representados nessas bases. Essa atividade teve como público professores da educação básica e estudantes de graduação e pós graduação em Matemática e em Pedagogia. Esta experiência mostrou a importância do sistema de numeração para a realização das operações fundamentais, assim como, promoveu uma frutífera discussão sobre a realização de operações matemáticas de forma automática

Abstract:
This work relates the realization of a short course that had as its theme the study of fundamental operations algorithms in arithmetic and as the objective to promote a reflection on the importance of the structure of numbering systems in the fundamental approaches algorithm. The methodology consists of studying the operations performed with numbers represented in the decimal numbering system, as well as, numbering systems with other bases, different ten, to verify how the algorithm of fundamental operations with the numbers represented in those bases. This activity was aimed at teachers of basic and post-graduate education in mathematics and pedagogy. This experience demonstrated the importance of the numbering system for the performance of fundamental operations, such as, for example, promoting a fruitful discussion about performing mathematical operations automatically.
