ONDE O EDIFÍCIO E A CIDADE SE ENCONTRAM: CONEXÕES NA ORLA DE MACEIÓ-AL
O artigo investiga o edifício no contexto da cidade a partir de suas conexões, pontuando os espaços de transição entre o espaço público e o privado, na tentativa de identificar onde “a cidade e o edifício se encontram”, especialmente a partir do nível do solo. Desta forma, a pesquisa busca no espaço da cidade de Maceió, neste primeiro momento, na orla norte da cidade, nos bairros da Pajuçara e Ponta Verde; identificar estes espaços de conexão com o edifício e que a torna mais viva e democrática. Como procedimentos metodológicos efetuou-se a revisão bibliográfica referente aos conceitos de conexão, espaços de transição, permeabilidade, intervalo e design urbano; além de levantamento de dados e pesquisa de campo na área de estudo delimitada. Ressalta-se que a pesquisa desenvolvida é anterior à pandemia da Covid-19.

Abstract:
The article investigates the building in the context of the city from its connections, pointing out the transition spaces between public and private space in an attempt to identify where “the city and the building meet”, especially from the ground level. In this way, the research searches in the space of the city of Maceió, in this first moment, in the north edge of the city, in the districts of Pajuçara and Ponta Verde; identify these spaces of connection with the building and which makes it more lively and democratic. As methodological procedures, a bibliographic review was carried out referring to the concepts of connection, transition spaces, permeability, interval and urban design; in addition to data collection and field research in the delimited study area. It is noteworthy that the research developed predates the Covid-19 pandemic.
