OFICINAS TERAPÊUTICAS INTERDISCIPLINARES EM UMA UNIDADE DE INTERNAÇÃO EM SAÚDE MENTAL: UM RELATO DE EXPERIÊNCIA DA NECESSIDADE À APLICAÇÃO
Objetivo: Relatar e analisar
criticamente a importância e as dificuldades do
projeto “Oficinas Terapêuticas Interdisciplinares”,
desenvolvido em uma Unidade de Internação
em Saúde Mental de um Hospital Universitário
brasileiro por meio de uma Extensão Universitária
que reuniu alunos de doze cursos de graduação
em prol de atividades interdisciplinares com os
pacientes em internação psiquiátrica durante o
período de quinze meses. Métodos: O Projeto
foi organizado em etapas de execução para
reconhecimento e integração dos discentes
ao serviço; organização e planejamento das
oficinas para, em seguida, realizar atividades
com temas de Artes, Música, Expressão
Corporal, Letras, Recreação e Teatro junto
aos pacientes em internação na Unidade.
Resultados: a Unidade, que não dispunha de
atividades organizadas periodicamente para
suprir a necessidade de práticas terapêuticas,
passou a contar com cronograma semanal fixo
que intencionou consolidar a clínica ampliada
e a atenção integral aos pacientes, realizando
123 oficinas ao longo de 15 meses. Discussão:
O espaço ofertado pelas oficinas permite a
manifestação de si através das produções
pessoais e pode contribuir para transformação
na vida do paciente, visto que possibilita
a percepção como ser humano maior que
seu adoecimento, bem como para além da
manifestação de sintomas, podendo descobrir
e redescobrir potencialidades. Considerações

Abstract:
Objectives: to report and critically analyze the importance and the difficulties
of the project “Oficinas Terapêuticas Interdisciplinares”, developed in a Mental Health
Hospitalization Unit of a University Hospital through a University Extension that brings
together students from twelve graduation courses to promote interdisciplinary activities
with the inpatients of the Unit during a fifteen-month period. Methods: the Project was
organized in stages of execution for recognition and integration of the students to the
service; organization and planning of the workshops to then carry out Arts, Music,
Body Expression, Letters, Recreation and Theater activities together with the patients
in the Unit. Results: the Unit, which did not have periodically organized activities in
group for therapeutic practices, started to have a fixed weekly schedule that intended
to consolidate the expanded clinic and the integral care to the patients, performing
123 workshops over 15 months. Discussion: The space offered by the workshops
allows the manifestation of self through personal productions and can contribute to
the transformation in the patient’s life, since it allows the perception as a human being
greater than his illness, as well as beyond the manifestation of symptoms, being able to
discover and rediscover potentialities. Final Conclusions: The workshops are strategies
of integral care and construction of a healthy therapeutic environment, essential in the
accomplishment of the psychosocial attention in spaces of hospitalization in mental
health.
