• Abstract: This paper presents the experience of scientific literacy through a workshop for the production of abstracts for scientific events linked to the Extension Program for Knowledge and Practices in the SUS. Extension action in the context of public health involving undergraduate and graduate students and public policy technicians in the science dissemination process. The workshop had the following objectives: to discuss the aspects involved in the process of preparing scientific summaries in the form of Experience Reports in the context of public health; contribute to the production of scientific summaries in the format of Report of Experiences; encourage the presentation of papers at scientific events. And by target audience: health professionals from different regions of Brazil. 09 (nine) of the 13 (thirteen) abstracts presented were presented at a scientific event and published in Anais.
