O USO DO FÓRUM COMO LABORATÓRIO DE FALA PARA A APRENDIZAGEM DA LÍNGUA INGLESA NA EDUCAÇÃO A DISTÂNCIA
O presente artigo tem como escopo
descrever os processos desenvolvidos e a
metodologia utilizada na aprendizagem da
língua inglesa em um curso na modalidade a
distância dirigido a alunos e servidores de uma
universidade pública. Analisou-se a utilização do
Fórum Virtual do AVA/Moodle como Laboratório
de Fala e sua potencialidade para desenvolver
a habilidade comunicativa da língua inglesa,
a partir das interações dos atores entre si e
com a plataforma. A metodologia contou com
a observação e análise dos áudios gravados
e postados por alunos e tutores no fórum e
entrevistas abertas com tutores e professora.
Os resultados indicam que a customização do
Fórum como Laboratório de Fala mostrou-se
inovadora e eficiente para aprendizagem do
idioma inglês, garantindo o desenvolvimento
do estudante não somente à vista da fala, mas,
das outras habilidades necessárias para a
aprendizagem de um idioma.

Abstract:
The purpose of this article is to
describe the processes developed and the
methodology used in learning the English
language in a course in the distance modality
directed to students and servants of a public
university. The use of the AVA / Moodle Virtual
Forum as Speech Laboratory and its potential
to develop the communicative ability of the
English language, based on the interactions of
the actors with each other and with the platform.
The methodology counted on the observation
and analysis of the audios recorded and posted
by students and tutors in the forum, and open
interviews with tutors and teacher. The results
indicate that the customization of the Forum as
Speech Laboratory has proved to be innovative
and efficient for English language learning,
guaranteeing the development of the student
not only in terms of speech, but also the other
skills needed to learn a language.
