O USO DE VENTILAÇÃO MECÂNICA NÃO INVASIVA (VNI) NO SUPORTE RESPIRATÓRIO DE PACIENTES EM TRATAMENTO DE COVID-19: UMA REVISÃO DE LITERATURA
O COVID-19 é uma infecção respiratória causada por o vírus SARSCoV-2. Sua transmissão é causada por gotículas espalhadas pelo ar. E sua sintomatologia pode ser desde sintomas leves gripais a uma pneumonia viral severa, semelhante à da Síndrome do desconforto respiratório agudo(SDRA). Tendo como objetivo avaliar a relação na literatura entre ventilação mecânica não invasiva e COVID-19. A metodologia empregada é uma revisão de literatura com buscas em Pubmed, Scielo, e Medline em Setembro de 2020 e os critérios de inclusão foram artigos em português, espanhóis e ingleses disponibilizadas na íntegra e realizados nos últimos dois anos. A VNI é um suporte ventilatório onde não há introdução de nenhum dispositivo invasivo e é feita exclusivamente por máscaras faciais ou nasais. Nota-se que a VNI é bem aceita sendo utilizada com os cuidados. É importante ressaltar que com o crescimento exponencial de casos e a alta demanda de profissionais capacitados a Ventilação mecânica não invasiva é uma opção satisfatória que atende as necessidades, porém, é necessário pesquisas mais aprofundada além de monitoramento e execução da técnica com todos os requisitos para prevenir a dispersão de aerossóis.

Abstract:
COVID-19 is a respiratory infection caused by the SARSCoV-2 virus. Its transmission is caused by droplets scattered through the air. And its symptoms can range from mild flu-like symptoms to severe viral pneumonia, similar to acute respiratory distress syndrome (ARDS). Aiming to evaluate the relationship in the literature between non-invasive mechanics and COVID-19. The methodology used and a literature review with searches in Pubmed, Scielo, and Medline in September 2020 and the inclusion criteria were articles in Portuguese, Spanish and English made available in full and carried out in the last two years. NIV is a ventilatory support where there is no introduction of any invasive device and is made exclusively by facial or nasal masks. Note that a NIV is well accepted for use with care. It is important to note that with the exponential growth of cases and the high demand for trained professionals, Non-invasive mechanical ventilation is a satisfactory option that meets the need, however, further in-depth research is required in addition to monitoring and executing the technique with all the requirements for prevent dispersion of aerosols.
