O TRANSBORDAR DO CÓRREGO SEGREDO EM CAMPO GRANDE – MS: A PERCEPÇÃO DO PROBLEMA QUANDO SUAS ÁGUAS SE UNEM À CHUVA E CAUSAM ENCHENTES
As enchentes são fenômenos de natureza hidrometeorológicas que fazem parte da dinâmica natural sendo intensificados pelas práticas antrópicas. O presente artigo objetivou analisar alguns eventos de enchentes ocorridos no Córrego Segredo localizado no Município de Campo Grande, estado do Mato Grosso do Sul. A área delimitada para análise foi a rotatória da Rua Rachid Neder devido a recorrência nos casos. O período analisado foi entre os anos de 2011 a 2018. Realizou-se pesquisa descritiva, utilizando levantamento de dados e informações oficiais disponibilizados pela Prefeitura Municipal de Campo Grande, pelo Arquivo Histórico de Campo Grande, pela PLANURB, pelo Perfil Socioeconômico de Campo Grande e pelo Plano Diretor de Drenagem Urbana de Campo Grande, dentre outras fontes. As principais causas identificadas para a recorrência do fenômeno foram: supressão da vegetação ciliar; interferência na naturalidade do Meio Ambiente; impermeabilização do solo; retificação de trechos do canal; dentre outros. Os dados puderam ser levantados também a partir de jornais eletrônicos que acompanharam os períodos de enchentes do Córrego Segredo. Após a análise identificou-se que obras foram realizadas durante todos esses anos e ainda estão ocorrendo com a finalidade de eliminar o risco de novas enchentes na rotatória da Rua Rachid Neder sobre o Córrego Segredo.

Abstract:
Floods are hydrometeorological phenomena that are part of the natural dynamics being intensified by anthropic practices. This article aimed to analyze some flood events that occurred in the Segredo Stream located in the municipality of Campo Grande, state of Mato Grosso do Sul. The area delimited for analysis was the Rachid Neder Street roundabout due to recurrence in the cases. The period analyzed was between 2011 and 2018. A descriptive research was carried out, using a survey of official data and information made available by the Municipality of Campo Grande, the Historical Archive of Campo Grande, PLANURB, the Socioeconomic Profile of Campo Grande and the Urban Drainage Master Plan of Campo Grande, among other sources. The main causes identified for the recurrence of the phenomenon were: suppression of riparian vegetation; interference in the naturalness of the environment; soil waterproofing; rectification of sections of the channel; among others. The data could also be collected from electronic newspapers that followed the flood periods of the Secret Stream. After the analysis it was identified that works were carried out during all these years and are still occurring with the purpose of eliminating the risk of further flooding at the roundabout of Rachid Neder Street on the Secret Stream.
