O TRABALHO COM GRUPO NO SERVIÇO SOCIAL: UMA EXPERIÊNCIA PROFISSIONAL NO GRUPO DE APOIO AOS PAIS - GAP
Esse trabalho tem como objetivo identificar a intervenção da (o) assistente social com trabalhos grupais com ênfase em famílias de crianças e adolescentes que estão em tratamento de reabilitação da audição e da fala. Para tanto, foram utilizadas como base de análise o trabalho realizado pela assistente social no Grupo de Apoio aos Pais (GAP) no Centro SUVAG do Rio Grande do Norte. Com embasamento nas informações sobre os encontros grupais, bem como, a intervenção da assistente social em cada encontro, constatou-se que é fundamental apreender o trabalho de grupo e as ações grupais através de atividades socioeducativas que articulem um conjunto de informações e uma prática reflexiva dos sujeitos envolvidos no processo, ampliando a capacidade de autonomia e de crítica, possibilitando a transformação social e novas configurações de sociabilidade.

Abstract:
This work aims to identify the intervention of the social worker with group works with emphasis on families of children and adolescents who are under treatment for hearing and speech rehabilitation. For that, the work performed by the social worker in the Parents Support Group (PSG) at the SUVAG Center in Rio Grande do Norte was used as the basis for analysis. Based on information about group meetings, as well as the intervention of the social worker in each meeting, it was found that it is essential to apprehend group work and group actions through socio-educational activities that articulate a set of information and a reflective practice of the subjects involved in the process, expanding the capacity for autonomy and criticism, enabling social transformation and new configurations of sociability.
