O NOVO NORMAL MEDIADO PELO CIBERESPAÇO - A INTENSIFICAÇÃO DO USO DAS REDES SOCIAIS DIGITAIS DURANTE A PANDEMIA DO NOVO CORONAVÍRUS
O presente artigo apresenta um estudo de natureza quali-quantitativa, exploratória e descritiva, que teve por objetivo investigar a utilização das redes sociais digitais no período de distanciamento social vivido em virtude da pandemia do Novo Coronavírus, a qual assolou o mundo nos anos de 2019/2020 e que até a publicação deste artigo (2021) ainda não tinha sido contida. Para a realização da pesquisa, foi feito um resgate histórico das origens e da evolução dessas redes até os dias atuais. Foi realizada, também, uma pesquisa, através da aplicação de um questionário a 101 usuários das principais redes sociais digitais do Brasil, segundo o site We are Social (2020), a fim de verificar sua importância e relevância ao longo do período de isolamento social. O estudo trouxe como resultado a intensificação do uso das referidas redes, bem como a migração das razões de seu uso, antes essencialmente voltadas para o lazer, e que passaram desempenhar outro papel no cotidiano das pessoas. Para as análises, os autores dialogaram com Lévy (2010), Ferreira (2011), Recuero (2009) e tivemos como base os dados da agência internacional We are Social (2020).

Abstract:
This article presents a qualitative-quantitative, exploratory and descriptive study, that aimed to investigate the use of digital social networks in the period of social distancing, experienced due to the pandemic of the Novo Coronavirus, which plagued the world in the years 2019/2020 and had not been contained until the publication of this article. To carry out the research, a historical rescue of the origins and evolution of these networks to this day was conducted. A survey was also conducted by applying a questionnaire to 101 users of the main digital social networks in Brazil, according to the website We are Social (2020), in order to verify their importance and relevance throughout the period of social isolation. The study resulted in the intensification of the use of these networks, as well as the migration of the reasons for their use, previously essentially focused on leisure and which began to play another role in people's daily lives. For the analyses, the authors dialogued with Lévy (2010), Ferreira (2011), Recuero (2009) and and had the international agency We are Social (2020) as a database.
