O IMPACTO CHAMADO DESEMPREGO À SAÚDE PSÍQUICA DOS TRABALHADORES
Resumo: Devido à ideia social e midiática de que o desligamento é sinônimo de fracasso, gradativamente são produzidos certos constrangimentos nos desempregados. Consequentemente, torna-se comum a vergonha de dizerem sobre seus reais sofrimentos, o impacto especificamente na saúde mental é calado e abafado. Em razão disso, refletir sobre este abalo psíquico e dar a devida visibilidade ao problema é o principal objetivo deste trabalho. A princípio, trago a “produção” da importância do emprego, considerando a historicidade da constituição desta lógica. Sendo assim, pode-se compreender as consequências negativas do desemprego na vida do sujeito, entendendo que as emoções desenvolvidas por este impacto se tornam como uma ponte para a baixa autoestima. Encerro a discussão problematizando as possíveis doenças psíquicas surtidas pelo desemprego, principalmente a depressão e ansiedade, considerando que estas estão entre as mais recorrentes do século XXI, principalmente no que diz respeito ao desemprego. Por conseguinte, apresento como uma solução viável a promoção e prevenção da saúde, por parte da sociedade, Estado e profissionais da área, como também o investimento na psicoeducação. A proposta é, então, expor a problemática deste impacto do desemprego ao bem-estar psíquico, e, por conseguinte, analisar o tratamento psicológico acessível como um dos caminhos possíveis para a amenização deste choque.

Abstract:
Abstract: The social and midiatic movement, according to which dismissal and failure have the same meaning, creates a gradually increasing embarrassment from the unemployed persons. The embarrassment prevent them from talking about their real sufferings; the impact, specifically on the mental health, is thus silenced and suppressed. In this regard, the current paper aims to reflect on this psychic disturbance and spotlight this theme as guiding lines. At first, I discuss the creation of the importance attributed to the employment by analyzing historically the constitution of such thinking. Thus, one can understand the negative implications of unemployment in one’s life are brought to light as well as in what way the resulting emotions may become a bridge to low self-steem. The discussion ends with the exposing and describing the mental disorders that the dismissal may cause, in particular depression and anxiety, seen that these are amongst the most recurrent illnesses in the 21st century and closely related to the discussed theme. The conclusion brings an appropriate solution to the discussed theme on the part of the society, State and healthcare professionals, which promotes mental health and mental disorder prevention as well as further investments in psychoeducation. The proposal is, therefore, exposing the impact caused by dismissal on the psychic wellness, and, consequently, considering the affordable psychological treatment as a possible way to lessen such impact.
