O ENSINO DE SURDOS: UM OLHAR SOBRE A FORMAÇÃO DOS PROFESSORES E A ESTRUTURA E RECURSOS DE MUNICÍPIOS CEARENSES
A Educação Especial é desafiadora no tocante à formação de docentes e
a estrutura e recursos voltados para os alunos com necessidades educacionais
especiais. Percebe-se que, mesmo com incentivos de políticas educacionais para
este público existem deficiências diversas. Realizou-se estudo com 200 docentes do
ensino fundamental de seis municípios no estado Ceará para identificar o
conhecimento dos mesmos sobre a Língua Brasileira de Sinais- Libras bem como a
estrutura e recursos voltados para o ensino de surdos em seus municípios. Detectouse
carência de conhecimento e formação dos profissionais em Libras, embora se
identifiquem políticas de incentivo à formação para atuarem com esta demanda.
