O CUIDADO PALIATIVO E A TANATOLOGIA NA GRADUAÇÃO EM ENFERMAGEM: UMA ANÁLISE DOS CURRÍCULOS DE UNIVERSIDADES FEDERAIS BRASILEIRAS
Introdução: Ao longo dos anos, percebe-se o aumento da incidência de doenças crônicas. Portanto, torna-se indispensável a atuação de cunho paliativista que permeia o diagnóstico ao fim da vida do paciente. Logo, a competência e qualificação do enfermeiro nesse contexto é de suma importância, pois sua equipe é responsável por promover maior qualidade de vida ao doente, além de atuar como principal alicerce técnico e psicológico para ele e seus familiares. Objetivo: analisar as matrizes curriculares dos Cursos de Graduação em Bacharel em Enfermagem de Universidades Federais brasileiras disponibilizados digitalmente e identificar a presença de disciplinas sobre cuidados paliativos e/ou tanatologia. Método: Trata-se de uma pesquisa documental elaborada a partir de dados de domínio público das Universidades Federais nacionais disponibilizados digitalmente. Resultados: 63 cursos de Bacharelado em Enfermagem são ofertados nos campus de 51 Universidades Federais. Dentre eles, observou-se que 31,75% das universidades disponibilizam disciplinas optativas sobre cuidados paliativos e/ou tanatologia e somente uma universidade possui a disciplina nesta temática de caráter obrigatório (1,59%). Considerações Finais: Dado o exposto, pode-se identificar o escasso contato do acadêmico com a temática de cuidados paliativos, visto que a oferta de disciplinas optativas é incerta e cursada, na maioria das vezes, por discentes com afinidade pela temática. Portanto, tendo em vista que a atuação do enfermeiro está além do caráter curativista, este deve possuir um aporte teórico básico acerca dessa temática para fundamentar sua atividade laboral.

Abstract:
Introduction: Over the years, has been an increase in the incidence of chronic diseases. Therefore, it is essential to act as a palliative that permeates the diagnosis at the end of the patient's life. The competence and qualification of nurses in this context is of paramount importance, as their team is responsible for promoting a better quality of life for the patient, in addition to acting as the main technical and psychological foundation for him and his family. Objective: to analyze how curricular matrices of Undergraduate Nursing Bachelor Courses at Brazilian Federal Universities are made available digitally and to identify the presence of disciplines on palliative care and / or Thanatology. Method: This is a documentary research based on public domain data from national Federal Universities made available digitally. Results: 63 Bachelor of Nursing courses are offered on the campus of 51 Federal Universities. Among them, it was observed that 31,75% of the universities offer optional subjects covering palliative care and / or thanatology and only one university has a discipline in this thematic are mandatory (1,59%). Final Considerations: Given the above, it is possible to identify the little contact of the academic with the theme of palliative care, since the offer of optional subjects is uncertain and attended in most cases by students with affinity for the theme. Therefore, bearing in mind that the nurse's performance is beyond the curative character, they must have a theoretical contribution about this theme to support his work activity.
