O CUIDADO DA INTEGRALIDADE DO PACIENTE MASTECTOMIZADO NA PERSPECTIVA ESTÉTICA
RESUMO: O câncer de mama é o tipo mais comum entre as mulheres e ultimamente seu tratamento evolui muito com as mastectomias. Sendo este, um processo cirúrgico doloroso e complicado. Ao mesmo tempo, a mutilação de um órgão feminino muito importante para as mulheres representante da maternidade, da feminilidade e da sexualidade, que influencia negativamente na qualidade de vida dessas mulheres acarretando declínio da autoimagem. A reconstrução mamária tem por objetivo restabelecer a estética corporal e melhorar a autoimagem da paciente. É imprescindível refletir sobre a arte da enfermagem vinculada à integralidade das pessoas e não apenas às suas doenças, mas quando a mulher necessita se submeter à mastectomia, em que provoca uma alteração evidente no contorno do corpo, esse processo pode ser ainda mais difícil, pois tal alteração ocasiona sentimentos de estranheza, sofrimento, autodepreciação provocados pela não aceitação da perda da mama; de forma que a compreensão de tais reações deve levar em conta o componente simbólico ligado às mamas, relacionado à maternidade, à fertilidade, à reprodução e à sexualidade. Este trabalho tem uma abordagem qualitativa embasado nos resultados da revisão de literatura em bases científicas. Verificou-se a necessidade de ampliação de estudos nesta área, para que se desenvolvam protocolos assistenciais, no intuito de aprimorar o atendimento da enfermeira no cuidado integral e estético.

Abstract:
ABSTRACT: Breast cancer is the most common type among women and lately their treatment has greatly improved with mastectomies. Being this, a surgical process painful and complicated. At the same time, the mutilation of a very important female organ for women representative of motherhood, femininity and sexuality, which negatively influences the quality of life of those women leading to declining self-image. Breast reconstruction aims to restore body aesthetics and improve the patient's self-image. It is imperative to reflect on the nursing art related to the integrality of people and not only to their illnesses and when the woman needs to submit mastectomy, which causes an obvious alteration on their body, this process can be even more difficult, since such alteration causes feelings of estrangement, suffering, self-depreciation caused by non-acceptance by the loss of the breast; so that the understanding of such reactions should take into account the symbolic component related to the breasts, related to maternity, fertility, reproduction and sexuality. This work has a qualitative approach based on the results of literature review on a scientific basis. There was a need to expand studies in this area in order to develop care protocols and improve the nurse's care in integral and aesthetic care.
