O CONTATO PRECOCE DO ESTUDANTE DE MEDICINA COM POLÍTICAS PÚBLICAS: ACOMPANHAMENTO DE CONSULTAS DE PRÉ-NATAL POSSIBILITANDO CONTATO COM A REDE CEGONHA
INTRODUÇÃO: A Rede Cegonha é um pacote de ações propostas pelo Ministério da Saúde assegurando às mulheres atendimento médico durante e após a gestação. Tem como base os princípios do SUS: equidade, universalidade e integralidade na atenção básica, acolhendo a mulher através do pré-natal, nascimento, puerpério e atenção integral à saúde da criança. Estudantes de medicina têm a possibilidade de vivenciar a rotina na atenção primária e, assim, ter contato com as diferentes ações em saúde e estratégias como a Rede cegonha. OBJETIVO: Descrever o acompanhamento e participação de estudantes de medicina em consultas de pré-natal por intermédio da Rede Cegonha possibilitando a articulação entre a teoria estudada e a realidade assistencial. RELATO DE EXPERIÊNCIA: A atividade foi realizada em uma Unidade Básica de Saúde na cidade de Franca – SP e permitiu aos estudantes adquirir experiências tanto no contato com a paciente como na prática do exame físico em gestantes através de atendimentos realizados. No decorrer da consulta, foi possível praticar a medida de altura uterina e as manobras de Leopold, previamente estudadas pelos alunos. Dessa maneira, o preceptor realizou o exame primeiro permitindo, e após, que os alunos reproduzissem sua técnica para obter o mesmo resultado. Foi uma atividade ótima para o exercício de competências clínicas, ainda em período inicial, considerando o caminho a ser percorrido ao longo do curso. CONCLUSÃO: Este relato de experiência mostrou que acompanhar consultas de pré-natal é importante justamente para permitir olhar através da perspectiva da Rede Cegonha, percebendo que muitos casos complicados poderiam ser mais simples se tivessem sido acompanhados adequadamente e se houvesse intervenção quando necessário e desde cedo na jornada da medicina entender o valor das estratégias de saúde, buscando compreender seus objetivos.

Abstract:
INTRODUCTION: The “Rede Cegonha” is a set of actions proposed by the Brazilian Ministry of Health which ensure medical care to woman before and after the pregnancy. The program has the principles of the Health Unic System - SUS - as its foundation: equality, universality and integrity at the basic care, assisting women trough prenatal, birth, puerperium and full attention to the child’s health. Medical students have the possibility to experience the primary care’s routine, and, by doing so, they have contact with different health actions and strategies, like the “Rede Cegonha”. OBJECTIVE: Describe both attendance and participation of medical students in antenatal visits by means of the “Rede Cegonha”, allowing the articulation between the studied theory and the assistance reality. REPORT: The activity allowed the students to acquire experiences both in the contact with the patient and in the practice of anamnesis in pregnant women, through services conducted at the basic health unit - UBS. During the visits, the students were able to put into practice previously studied techniques, such as uterine height measurement and Leopold’s maneuvers. Thus, the preceptor accomplished the examination and then allowed the students to reproduce the technique in order to obtain the same results. It was a great activity to exercise the clinical skills during the initial time course, considering the path to be taken along the course. CONCLUSION: This experience report revealed that following the antenatal consultations was important to allow understanding the clinical activity through the program's perspective (Rede Cegonha), realizing that many challenging cases could be a lot easier if properly monitored and intervene when necessary, and also, early in the medical journey, the students were able to realize the value of health strategies, searching for an understanding of its goals.
