O AVA MOODLE E SUAS POSSIBILIDADES NO ENSINO-APRENDIZAGEM DE CIÊNCIAS: TRABALHANDO O CONTEÚDO
O presente artigo, recorte da
dissertação de Mestrado intitulada: “A utilização
do Ambiente Virtual de Aprendizagem Moodle
no ensino de Ciências: uma experiência no 5º
ano do Ensino Fundamental”, discute acerca da
utilização do Ambiente Virtual de Aprendizagem
(AVA) Moodle, a partir do trabalho com o
conteúdo da disciplina de Ciências “geração
de energia elétrica”, com um grupo de alunos
do 5º ano do Ensino Fundamental de uma
escola pública da rede estadual de Sergipe.
As atividades desenvolvidas no Moodle
compreenderam no planejamento e organização
do conteúdo trabalhado, com base nos
conhecimentos prévios dos alunos participantes
da pesquisa, acerca do conteúdo “geração de
energia elétrica”, obtidos a partir de entrevista
de tipo semiestruturada (GIL, 2008; BONI E
QUARESMA, 2010). Posteriormente foram
desenvolvidos os Tópicos, no AVA, de modo que
estes exploraram as questões categorizadas
(BARDIN, 2011) a partir das respostas dadas
pelos alunos à entrevista. O desenvolvimento
das atividades no AVA Moodle suscitou a
possibilidade de utilização das ferramentas
disponíveis na plataforma, apontando para
uma (re)significação no trabalho pedagógico
em sala de aula, almejando a aprendizagem
significativa, através das potencialidades do
Moodle para o trabalho na área de Ciências.

Abstract:
This article, a section of the
Master's thesis entitled "The use of the Virtual
Moodle Learning Environment in Science
Teaching: an experience in the 5th year of
Elementary School", discusses the use of the
Virtual Learning Environment (VLE) Moodle, the
from the work with the content of the discipline
of "electric power generation", with a group
of students of the 5th grade of Elementary
School of a public school of the state network
of Sergipe. The activities developed in Moodle
included in the planning and organization of
the content worked, based on the previous
knowledge of the students participating in
the research, about the content "electricity
generation", obtained from a semi-structured
interview (GIL, 2008; BONI AND QUARESMA,
2010). Subsequently, the topics were developed in the VLE, so that they explored the
categorized questions (BARDIN, 2011) from the answers given by the students to the
interview. The development of the activities in the Moodle VLE raised the possibility of
using the tools available in the platform, pointing to a redetermination in the pedagogical
work in the classroom, aiming at meaningful learning, through the potentialities of
Moodle for work in the area of Sciences.
