O AERÓDROMO MUNICIPAL DE PONTE DE SOR COMO MOTOR DE DESENVOLVIMENTO LOCAL/ REGIONAL
O Estudo foi orientado para sistematizar as dimensões de retorno do
investimento no Aeródromo Municipal de Ponte de Sor já existentes (efeitos
diretos e indiretos) e identificar oportunidades de investimento e emprego para
reforçar o posicionamento do Concelho no Complexo das Atividades
Aeronáuticas, a nível regional e nacional.
Na metodologia, para além do investimento na análise documental e de
estatísticas socioeconómicas, destacou-se a aplicação presencial de
questionários a Estabelecimentos empresariais, a Professores do Agrupamento
de Escolas e à população, com bases amostrais robustas.
Os principais resultados situam-se na criação de condições infraestruturais de
base que potenciaram os fatores e viabilizaram a instalação de atividades que
implicam movimentação aérea (proteção civil, manutenção e reparação de
aeronaves, voos, formação de pilotos, …); e na instalação, em curso, de
empresas que diferenciam e diversificam a cadeia de atividades e criação de
valor do AED Cluster, em Ponte de Sor e na região.

Abstract:
The Study was aimed at systematizing the existing dimensions of return on
investment in the Municipal Aerodrome of Ponte de Sor (direct and indirect
effects) and at identifying investment and employment opportunities to reinforce
the position of the Municipality in the Complex of Aeronautical Activities, at
regional and national level.
In the methodology, in addition to the investment in documentary analysis and
socioeconomic statistics, it was highlighted the application of questionnaires to
Business establishments, Schoolteachers and to the population, with robust
sample bases.
The main results are the creation of basic infrastructural conditions that have
enabled the factors and the establishment of activities that involve air
movement (civil protection, maintenance and repair of aircraft, flights, pilot
training, ...); and the ongoing establishment of companies that differentiate and
diversify the chain of activities and value creation of AED Cluster in Ponte de
Sor and in the region.
