‘NÓS NA REDE’: CONTRIBUÇÔES DO PROJETO EXTENSIONISTA E SUAS PRÁTICAS EDUCATIVAS NA PROMOÇÃO DA SAÚDE
A extensão universitária é uma
oportunidade que oportuniza acadêmicos e
população em uma interação que traz benefício
a ambos. O objetivo do estudo foi relatar a
experiência dos dez anos do projeto de extensão
“Nós na Rede”. O projeto é desenvolvido pelo
curso de Odontologia da Universidade Estadual
de Ponta Grossa (UEPG) e busca promover a
disseminação de conhecimento e informações
em saúde (bucal e geral) às populações
socialmente desfavorecidas ou vulneráveis,
além de propiciar ao acadêmico uma vivência
prática da atenção coletiva em saúde. O projete
teve início em fevereiro de 2009, contou com a
colaboração de alunos de graduação, pós-graduação e docentes da UEPG, e recebeu
esse nome devido sua inserção na Rede Nacional de Educação Popular em Saúde.
Ao longo desses dez anos, o projeto passou por várias fases: inicialmente foi voltado
à atuação em visitas domiciliares na comunidade, depois contou com atendimentos
clínicos à comunidade universitária, e hoje, tem enfoque em ações educativas em
nível coletivo. As atividades são desenvolvidas através de solicitação da comunidade
externa e planejadas conforme local e o público-alvo. O projeto apresenta recursos e
materiais educativos desenvolvidos pelo grupo, tais como: cartilhas sobre curiosidades
e orientações, atividades interativas para o público infantil, banners ilustrativos, dentre
outros. Desta forma, o projeto de extensão tem tido uma experiência exitosa na
perspectiva da inclusão social e benefício da comunidade e na formação profissional
por meio da educação em saúde.

Abstract:
The university extension is an opportunity that allows academics and
population in an interaction that brings benefit to both. The objective of the study was
to report the experience of the ten years of the extension project “Nós Na Rede”. The
project is developed by the Dentistry course of the State University of Ponta Grossa
(UEPG) and seeks to promote the dissemination of knowledge and information on
health (oral and general) to socially disadvantaged or vulnerable populations, as well
as providing the academic with a practical experience of care collective health. The
project started in February 2009, was attended by undergraduates, graduate students
and UEPG teachers, and was named because of its insertion in the National Network
of Popular Education in Health. During these ten years, the project went through
several phases: initially it was directed to work in home visits in the community, then
it counted on clinical services to the university community, and today, it focuses on
educational actions at a collective level. Activities are developed at the request of the
outside community and planned according to location and target audience. The project
presents resources and educational materials developed by the group, such as: booklets
on curiosities and orientations, interactive activities for children, illustrative banners,
among others. In this way, the extension project has had a successful experience in the
perspective of social inclusion and benefit of the community and in vocational training
through health education.
