NEUROSARCOIDOSIS: PATIENT WITH SENSORY LOWERING ASSOCIATED WITH CRANIAL NERVE NEUROPATHY HEADACHE AND VASCULOPATHY CASE REPORT
Apenas 10% dos pacientes diagnosticados com sarcoidose apresentam sintomas neurológicos. As manifestações mais comuns são neuropatia craniana, cefaleia, ataxia, disfunção cognitiva, fraqueza e convulsões, e precedem o diagnóstico de sarcoidose em até 74% dos casos. Apresentamos o relato de caso de um paciente com possível neurosarcoidose, evoluindo com um curso de manifestações neurológicas iniciadas dois anos antes da suspeição do seu diagnóstico etiológico.

Abstract:
Only 10% of patients diagnosed with sarcoidosis have neurological symptoms. The most common manifestations are cranial neuropathy, headache, ataxia, cognitive dysfunction, weakness and seizures, and precede the diagnosis of sarcoidosis in up to 74% of cases. We present the case report of a patient with possible neurosacoridosis, evolving with a course of neurological manifestations wich started two years before the suspicion of its etiological diagnosis.
