NECESSIDADE DE REVISÃO DAS DIRETRIZES PARA O EMPREGO DO POLICIAMENTO MONTADO NA POLÍCIA MILITAR DO ESTADO DE ALAGOAS
A doutrina existente e as diretrizes sobre o tema balizam as ações das tropas montadas da Polícia Militar de Alagoas, capitaneada pelo Regimento de Polícia Montada Dom Pedro I e pelo Pelotão Montado do 3º Batalhão. Na busca por solucionar o problema ora pesquisado, que trata do aprimoramento na prestação de serviço a partir do emprego do policiamento ostensivo montado, apontamos como hipótese a necessidade de revisão de suas diretrizes legais. O objetivo foi analisar as normatizações atuais para o emprego do Policiamento Montado na Polícia Militar do Estado de Alagoas, no cenário contemporâneo de segurança pública. A utilização de cavalos treinados para prover segurança pública certamente foi o condão da nossa pesquisa, tudo isso ajustado à realidade do cenário local. Para tanto, recorremos à metodologia de pesquisa qualitativa e quantitativa, com a realização de revisão narrativa da literatura existente acerca do tema e, ainda, análise da estrutura administrativa e operacional da corporação frente ao emprego ordinário do Policiamento Montado. Instrumentalizada por meio da pesquisa do tipo descritiva observacional transversal, com aplicação de questionário, foi possível apurar algumas considerações, as quais se vislumbram, de antemão, seriam de significativo ganho para a Polícia Militar de Alagoas, uma vez que mitigaria eventuais insucessos, com garantia de eficiência.

Abstract:
Existing doctrine and guidelines on the subject guide the actions of the mounted troops of the Military Police of Alagoas, led by the Dom Pedro I Mounted Police Regiment and by the Mounted Platoon of the 3rd Battalion. In the search to solve the problem researched, which deals with the improvement in the provision of service from the use of ostensible policing, we point out as a hypothesis the need to review its legal guidelines. The objective was to analyze the current regulations for the use of Mounted Policing in the Military Police of the State of Alagoas, in the contemporary scenario of public security. The use of trained horses to provide public security was certainly the essence of our research, all adjusted to the reality of the local scenario. To this end, we resorted to qualitative and quantitative research methodology, carrying out a narrative review of the existing literature on the subject and, also, analyzing the administrative and operational structure of the corporation in the face of the ordinary use of Mounted Policing. Instrumentalized through cross-sectional observational descriptive research, with the application of a questionnaire, it was possible to determine some considerations, which, in advance, would be of significant gain for the Military Police of Alagoas, since it would mitigate any failures, with guarantee of efficiency.
