NARRAÇÃO E MONTAGEM EM O MEZ DA GRIPPE
O objetivo desta pesquisa é investigar o processo narrativo no romance gráfico de Valêncio Xavier. A novela O Mez da Grippe será analisada e comparada a outras produções, situando-a na tradição dos romances gráficos do autor. Dessa forma, confrontando-a com as ideias de Benjamin (2012) acerca da extinção do narrador e de Santiago (1989) sobre o narrador pós-moderno contemporâneo, analisamos como se dá a narração em uma produção literária como esta, marcada pela inclusão da arte gráfica: recortes de jornais, anúncios, postais e colagens que compõem a obra. A justaposição das imagens, índices do real que, por sua vez, constroem a ficcionalidade quando retirados de seu espaço/tempo, é responsável pela narrativa, montada pelo leitor, num ir e vir, cruzar-entrecruzar de informações.

Abstract:
The aim of this research is to investigate the narrative process on this graphic novel by Valêncio Xavier. The novel O Mez da Grippe (1981) will be analyzed and compared to other productions, being situated as one of his most traditional novels. Therefore, confronting itself to the ideas of Benjamin (2012) regarding the extinction of the narrator and Adorno (2003) also Santiago (1989) about the contemporary postmodern narrator, we can analyze how the storytelling does work by itself in a literary production as this one, marked by the inclusion of graphic art e.g., newspaper clippings, advertisements, postcards and collages that enter the work. The juxtaposition of images is what makes the narrative, the ads are all content from real life, furthermore, they're able to build the story fiction when taken out of their original space-time, it is set up by the reader, in a come-and-go, cross-intersection way of information.
