Abstract: Drones have emerged as important tools in environmental monitoring due to their ability to access difficult-to-reach areas, collect data effectively and quickly, and reduce the costs and risks associated with manned aerial operations. The present study aimed to use the drone to fly over urban areas and identify potential breeding grounds for Aedes aegypti and analyze climate data in relation to the increase in dengue cases. These outbreaks were mainly associated with inadequate waste disposal and inadequate water storage. The use of drones not only speeded up the identification process, but also reduced the risk for the pilots involved. The meteorological data obtained reveal that the city of Medianeira - PR has a climate conducive to the proliferation of these mosquitoes, due to the occurrence of abundant rain and a humid subtropical climate. However, there is no positive correlation between climatic factors and the increase in dengue cases diagnosed during the research between the months of November 2022 and June 2023, as the transition from autumn to winter reduces rainfall and increases cases of dengue.
