MODUS VIVENDIS ALTERADOS E TERRITÓRIOS EXPROPRIADOS: UMA EXPERIÊNCIA PEDAGÓGICA NA ALDEIA SALTO UTIARITI E QUATRO CACHOEIRAS (MT)
O presente trabalho faz parte de um projeto transdisciplinar denominado
“Olhares e saberes a respeito da técnica e Tecnologia no Território Mato-grossense”
realizado pelos alunos do curso de Edificações do IFMT – Campus Cuiabá.
Objetivando romper com a produção de um saber fragmentado, dissociado da
realidade técnico-científico e informacional prevalecente na sociedade
contemporânea, o projeto de pesquisa teve como objetivo por meio do tema gerador
“Técnica e Tecnologia” propiciar aos alunos a capacidade para compreender e
avaliar a gênese das tecnologias comunicacionais e informacionais na produção do
espaço mato-grossense e seus impactos nas comunidades tradicionais indígenas -
na aldeia do Salto do Utiariti e Quatro Cachoeiras. A experiência pedagógica
possibilitou-nos constatar que, embora as mesmas pertencessem em um mesmo
grupo étnico, apresentavam diferenças no que diz respeito à temporalidade de
inserção ao mundo capitalista globalizado, refletindo nas formas de viver, consumir
e produzir. No aspecto produtivo um paradoxo se configura. A alteração no processo
produtivo desse povo, da agricultura tradicional para a lavoura mecanizada, ao
mesmo tempo em que, representou uma conquista para esse povo, no sentido que
possibilitou o retorno às aldeias dos homens que antes trabalhavam nas fazendas,
bem como, para a obtenção de renda para investir em projetos comunitários, por
outro lado abriu um precedente que preocupa as demais etnias que vivem no
Cerrado e nas áreas de transição, uma vez que esses povos passam a adotar o
modelo ocidental de produzir.

Abstract:
The present work is part of a transdisciplinary project called "Looks and
know-hows regarding the technique and technology in the territory of Mato Grosso"
carried out by the students of the Edifications course from IFMT -- Campus Cuiabá.
Aiming to break with the production of a fragmented knowledge, dissociated from the
technical-scientific and informational reality prevailing in contemporany society, this
research project had as its objective through the generating theme "Technique and
Technology" to provide students the ability to understand and evaluate the genesis
of the comunication and information technologies in the production of Mato Grosso
space and its impacts on tradicional indigenous communities - in the village of Salto
do Utiariti and Quatro Cachoeiras. The pedagogical experience made possible for us
to verify that, even though they belonged to the same ethinic group, they presented
differences regarding the temporality of insertion into the globalized capitalist world,
reflecting on the ways of living, consuming and producing. In the productive aspect a

paradoxe is configured. The alteration in the productive process of these people, from
traditional agriculture to mechanized farming, at the same time, represented a
conquest for these people, in the sense it made possible the return to the villages of
the men who previously worked on the farms, as well, to obtain income to invest in
communitary projects, on the other hand, it openned a precedent that worries the
others ethnicities that lives in the Cerrado and in the transition areas, since these
people begin to adopt the western model to produce.
