MODO ANTIGO DE REZAR: INTEGRANDO A ESPIRITUALIDADE DO SER
Este trabalho oferece uma reflexão sobre as contribuições dos saberes populares de rezadoras e curandeiras na procura por oferecer condições para a construção de um ser melhor espiritualmente e fisicamente mediante práticas integrativas e uma saúde mais perfeita. Assim, apontamos os conflitos e intercâmbios entre os saberes da medicina tradicional e dos terapeutas populares, mostrando sua importância e seus desafios. Apresentamos uma breve apreciação nessa área do conhecimento e sua contribuição para a prática mais consciente, a partir do reconhecimento da saúde e doença enquanto processos socioculturais. Expomos possibilidades em se repensar nossas políticas de saúde para um jeito mais humanitário, além de possibilitar a ressignificação dessas atividades e desses profissionais de saúde tradicional, bem como o poder do etnoconhecimento com eficácia – certamente, já são alicerces das práticas relacionadas com a cura e são idealizados e mantidos com a força da fé da sociedade local.

Abstract:
This work offers a reflection on the contributions of the popular knowledge of the prayers and healers, in an attempt to offer conditions for the construction of a better being spiritually and physically through integrative practices and a more perfect health. Thus, we point out the conflicts and exchanges between the knowledge of traditional medicine and popular therapists, showing their importance and challenges. We present a brief overview of this area of knowledge and its contribution to a more conscious practice, based on the recognition of health and disease as sociocultural processes. We expose possibilities for rethinking our health policies in a more humanitarian way, in addition to enabling the redefinition of these activities and these traditional health professionals, as well as the power of ethnoknowledge effectively - certainly, they are already the foundations of practices related to healing and they are idealized and maintained with the strength of the faith of the local society.
