MIGRAÇÕES E O AUMENTO DO NÍVEL DO MAR: O CASO DOS ESTADOS DAS ILHAS ATOL
Este trabalho tem por objetivo apresentar o Caso das Ilhas de Atol, a
ameaça real que elas sofrem e as prováveis consequências. Como introdução será apresentado os conceitos de Migrantes e Refugiados, as causas que levam essas pessoas a tomarem uma medida tão drástica e o que o aumento do nível do mar em relação as Linhas de Base e os Deltas pode causar no país, territorialmente e humanamente. Ademais, outros pontos como sugestões para
lidar com as previsões e possíveis mudanças no regime internacional, são expostos com o intuito de evidenciar a inflexibilidade dos organismos do Direito Internacional e frisar a atenção aos Tratados Bilaterais como principal alternativa, levando em conta possíveis resultados avançados, no contexto
social, político e econômico. Todavia, para o desenvolvimento, utiliza-se dados e informações de artigos científicos, Institutos nacionais e internacionais, além dos próprios Tratados relacionados ao tema, como a UNCLOS. Contudo, conclui-se que de acordo com os níveis crescentes do oceano, as Ilhas de Atol estão sujeitas a desaparecer, fato que acarreta preocupações além de suas
fronteiras, pois uma suposta crise humanitária afetaria Estados alheios.

Abstract:
This paper aims to introduce the Case of Atoll Island States, the
real threat they suffer and the likely consequences. As introduction it will be stated the concepts of Migrants and Refugees, the reasons why those people choose to take such a drastic measure and what the increase of the sea level in relation to the Baselines and Deltas can cause to a country, territorially and humanely. In addition, other points as suggestion to deal with the forecasts and possible changes in the international regime, are exposed with the order to
demonstrate the inflexibility of the organisms from International Law and stress the attention to Bilateral Treaties as the principal alternative, considering the possible advanced results, in the social, political and economical context. However, to the development, it is used data and information from cientific articles, national and international institutes, besides treaties related to the theme, as UNCLOS. However, it is concluded in according to the steady increase of the sea level, the Atoll Island States are subject to disappear, fact that entails concerns besides the border, because an alleged humanitarian crisis would affect foreign States. -
