METODOLOGIAS ATIVAS NO ENSINO ODONTOLÓGICO: UMA ABORDAGEM TEÓRICO-PRÁTICA
Metodologias ativas tratam-se de um amplo processo em que procura-se inserir o estudante como o principal agente responsável pelo seu aprendizado, buscando mudanças nas práticas em sala de aula que estão, por muitas vezes, enraizadas no modelo tradicional de ensino. O objetivo deste capítulo é proporcionar ao leitor a familiarização com diferentes tipos de metodologias ativas. Faz-se uma breve revisão de literatura, trazendo conceitos importantes no tema e, na sequência apresentamos algumas das abordagens que podem ser utilizadas. Espera-se que com a leitura desse conteúdo haja uma reflexão por parte do leitor sobre o papel do professor e do aluno no processo de ensino e aprendizagem. Além disso esperamos motivar o interesse pelo tema e contribuir para ampliação de seu uso.

Abstract:
Active methodologies are a broad process in which the student is inserted as the main agent responsible for his learning, seeking changes in classroom practices that are often rooted in the traditional teaching model. The objective of this chapter is to provide the reader with familiarization with different types of active methodologies. A brief literature review is made, bringing important concepts to the subject and, in the sequence, we presente some approaches that can be used. It is expected that with the reading of this content there will be a reflection by the reader on the role of teacher and student in the teaching and learning process. In addition, we hope to motivate interest in the theme and contribute to expanding its use.
