MEMÓRIAS DA PSICOLOGIA BRASILEIRA: O PIONERISMO DE MADRE CRISTINA
O presente trabalho apresenta aos leitores, Madre Cristina, considerada uma das pioneiras na construção da Psicologia enquanto profissão no Brasil. Para tanto, buscamos apresentar sua biografia apontando as contribuições nos processos históricos e políticos que se configuraram como pano de fundo de sua atuação na Psicologia e, por fim, destacando suas contribuições para a psicologia brasileira, despertando a relevância da colaboração de autores brasileiros para a construção das raízes dessa profissão no país. Nesse sentido, a fim de ampliar o entendimento e gerar uma maior aproximação dos objetivos do estudo, foi realizada uma revisão bibliográfica a respeito da temática. Diante desse contexto, percebeu-se a importância de suas lutas e militância a favor de uma sociedade justa, democrática e igualitária, além de sua intensa participação no movimento que culminou na regulamentação da profissão em 1962. Nessa perspectiva, ressalta-se a importância da comunidade acadêmica se aproximar das raízes nacionais da psicologia brasileira através do entendimento da trajetória teórico-prática dos seus pioneiros.

Abstract:
The present work introduces readers to Mother Cristina, considered one of the pioneers in the construction of Psychology as a profession in Brazil. To this end, we seek to present his biography pointing out the contributions in the historical and political processes that were configured as a background of his work in Psychology and, finally, highlighting his contributions to Brazilian psychology, awakening the relevance of the collaboration of Brazilian authors for the building the roots of this profession in the country. In this sense, in order to broaden the understanding and generate a greater approximation of the objectives of the study, a bibliographic review was carried out regarding the theme. In this context, the importance of their struggles and militancy in favor of a just, democratic and egalitarian society was perceived, in addition to their intense participation in the movement that culminated in the regulation of the profession in 1962. In this perspective, the importance of academic community to approach the national roots of Brazilian psychology through the understanding of the theoretical-practical trajectory of its pioneers.
