MEDIDAS MITIGATÓRIAS PARA A RECUPERAÇÃO DE UM CÓRREGO E MATA CILIAR, EM JARAGUÁ DO SUL, SANTA CATARINA, BRASIL
Atualmente, tem-se dado grande ênfase as questões ambientais, como a conservação do meio ambiente e a recuperação de áreas degradadas. Assim, este estudo teve como objetivo geral pesquisar e implantar medidas mitigatórias para a recuperação do córrego local e da mata ciliar do IFSC Câmpus Jaraguá do Sul-Rau. Primeiramente, investigou-se a fonte causadora de poluição por esgoto através de visitas in loco na área de estudos e no entorno, entre agosto/2019 e julho/2020. Paralelamente, foram consultados os profissionais da Fundação Jaraguaense de Meio Ambiente para se definir quais eram as espécies de plantas nativas mais indicadas para a recuperação da mata ciliar. Como medidas mitigatórias foram realizadas a limpeza e o desassoreamento do córrego local e a recuperação da mata ciliar, com o plantio de 55 mudas de espécies nativas da Mata Atlântica. Não foi possível identificar o local exato do lançamento do esgoto, apenas o trecho em que ocorre. Nesse sentido, continua-se buscando junto ao Serviço Autônomo Municipal de Água e Esgoto, uma possibilidade de tratamento ou desvio desse esgoto para a rede de captação. É urgente a necessidade de investimentos em educação ambiental, como uma ferramenta para redução das ações antrópicas que promovem impactos ambientais como os constatados no presente estudo.

Abstract:
Currently, great emphasis has been placed on environmental issues, such as environmental conservation and the recovery of degraded areas. Thus, this study had as the general objective to research and implement mitigating measures for the recovery of the local stream and the riparian forest at the IFSC Jaragua do Sul-Rau campus. Firstly, the source of sewage pollution was investigated through on-site visits to the study area and its surroundings, between August 2019 and July 2020. At the same time, professionals from the Jaraguaense Environment Foundation were consulted to determine which species of native plants were most suitable for the recovery of the riparian forest. As mitigating measures, cleaning and de-silting of the local stream and the recovery of the riparian forest were carried out, with the planting of 55 seedlings of species native to the Atlantic Forest. It was not possible to identify the exact location of the sewage discharge, only the section where it occurs. In this sense, the Municipal Autonomous Water and Sewage Service continues to seek a possibility of treating or diverting this sewage to the collection network. There is an urgent need for investment in environmental education as a tool to reduce anthropic actions that promote environmental impacts such as those found in the present study.
