Abstract: the aim was to build a Matrix of Competencies and Frameworks in Health Preceptorship to guide and qualify the performance of health professionals.. This is a scoping review study conducted in three databases: PubMed, Latin American and Caribbean Literature in Health Sciences, and Scientific Electronic Library Online. A protocol was registered on the Open Science Framework Platform. Thirteen articles met the eligibility criteria, in which the following main concepts were identified: technical competence; pedagogical competence; related competences; and validation of the matrix. Among the models analyzed, the One Minute Preceptor and Summarize, Narrow, Analyze, Probe, Plan, Select stood out. As a practical result of this research, the Competency and Framework Matrix for Preceptorship in Health was developed, based on the gaps and needs pointed out by the reviewed studies, with the objective of supporting the training and development of preceptors in the health area. The findings reinforce that preceptorship is an essential strategy for the development of skills and competencies in the context of health training.
