MATRÍCULAS DA EDUCAÇÃO ESPECIAL NO ENSINO SUPERIOR: ANÁLISE A PARTIR DE SINOPSES ESTATÍSTICAS
Essa pesquisa tem como objetivo analisar as matrículas de estudantes público-alvo da Educação Especial no Ensino Superior. Trata-se de uma pesquisa documental, com foco na análise qualitativa. Os dados foram levantados pelas Sinopses Estatísticas, disponibilizado pelo Instituto Nacional de Estudos e Pesquisas Anísio Teixeira (Inep), referente ao período 2014 a 2018. Os resultados indicam que a maioria dos estudantes está matriculado na rede privada e estadual de ensino. As regiões sudeste e nordeste concentram o maior quantitativo de estudantes. Em relação à condição educativa, a maior parte dos estudantes tem deficiência física, baixa visão, deficiência auditiva e superdotação. Conclui-se assim que embora tenha aumentado o número de pesquisas sobre a inclusão das pessoas com deficiência no Ensino Superior, ainda existe uma lacuna quanto as discussões a respeito da evolução do número de matrículas.

Abstract:
This research aims to analyze the enrolment of students, with a focus on Special Education in higher education. It may be characterized as documentary research, focusing on qualitative analysis. The data was collected by the Synopses Statistics, made available by the National Institute of Studies and Research Anísio Teixeira (Inep), for the period 2014 to 2018. The results indicate that the majority of students are enrolled in the private and state education network. Notably, the southeast and northeast regions exhibited the largest concentrations of students. Regarding the educational condition, most students have physical disabilities which include low vision, hearing impairment and giftedness. It is concluded that although the volume of research on the inclusion of people with disabilities in Higher Education has increased, there is still a gap in the discussions regarding the evolution in the number of enrolments.
