MATERIAIS E PROCESSOS SUSTENTÁVEIS NO SETOR DE JOIAS NO CONTEXTO AMAZÔNICO: POSSIBILIDADES DE ATUAÇÃO
Este trabalho vem repercutir algumas iniciativas de designers paraenses que encontram na biodiversidade amazônica um campo fértil a ser explorado em suas criações no setor de joias e acessórios de moda. A floresta amazônica impacta não apenas quando consideramos a biodiversidade vegetal e animal, mas também em toda sua história e simbolismos que resultam na cultura material da região. Para representar essa produção de joias e acessórios pautados em conceitos Amazônicos são mostrados alguns trabalhos de designers egressos da Universidade do Estado do Pará e que juntamente com ourives, artesãos e outros artistas fazem parte do Polo Joalheiro do Pará. Elementos como fibras vegetais e sementes são utilizados juntamente com metais nobres por alguns designers para agregar valores culturais intrínsecos à matéria-prima utilizada, assim como coleções são inspiradas em ritos, costumes e biomas da região. Os aspectos de sustentabilidade ambiental também são cada vez mais relevantes na produção e consumo de joias e artefatos e designers estão conscientes disso e têm levado essa discussão aos seus projetos.

Abstract:
: This work repercurts some initiatives by designers from Pará, which find in the Amazonian biodiversity a fertile Field to be explored in their creations to the jewelry and fashion accessories sectors. The Amazon rain Forest impacts not only when we consider plant and animal biodiversity but also in all its history and symbolism tha tresult in the material culture of the region . To represent this production of jewelry and accessories based on Amazonian concepts some works by designers graduated from the University of the Stateof Pará are shown and that together with goldsmiths, artisansan do ther artists are part of the Joalheiro do Pará Pole. Materials such as vegetable fibers and seeds are used together with noble metals by some designers to add intrinsic cultural values to the raw material used, as well as collections are inspired by the region'srites, customs and biomes. Aspects of environmental sustainability are also increasingly relevant in the production and consumption of jewelry and artifacts and designers are aware of this and have taken this discussion to their projects.
