MANIFESTAÇÕES DOS SINTOMAS DA DEPRESSÃO EM PACIENTES COM FIBROMIALGIA
Introdução: A depressão (DP) constitui uma das comorbidades psiquiátricas mais prevalentes da fibromialgia (FM), com taxa de prevalência de 18 a 36%. O aspecto de cronicidade da FM é intimamente ligado a alterações de humor, de modo que constitui um vínculo bidirecional com a DP, a partir da ativação de padrões neurais no cérebro que amplificam a sensação de dor. Logo, afeta negativamente os aspectos da vida cotidiana, haja vista a automaticidade de pensamentos debilitantes advindos do sentimento de incapacidade induzido pela doença levarem a um cenário de catastrofização perante a sintomatologia. Objetivo: Analisar publicações científicas nacionais e internacionais no campo da saúde pública, visando a compreensão da manifestação da depressão na fibromialgia. Metodologia: Realizar uma revisão de literatura através de artigos publicados em periódicos nacionais e internacionais nos últimos 5 anos com foco nas manifestações dos sintomas da depressão em pacientes com fibromialgia. Conclusão: Sendo a FM uma dor crônica diretamente associada a manifestações de DP, pode ser de ordem primária, quando um fator depressivo leva o indivíduo a um quadro reativo a doença, ou secundária, quando a doença leva o indivíduo a desencadear a DP. Logo, a coexistência de ambas as doenças pode causar grandes prejuízos à saúde, sendo necessário mais estudos nessa área.

Abstract:
Introduction: Depression (PD) is one of the most prevalent psychiatric comorbidities of fibromyalgia (FM), with a prevalence rate of 18 to 36%. The chronicity aspect of FM is closely linked to mood changes, so that it constitutes a bidirectional link with PD, from the activation of neural patterns in the brain that amplify the sensation of pain. Therefore, it negatively affects aspects of daily life, given the automaticity of debilitating thoughts arising from the feeling of incapacity induced by the disease lead to a catastrophizing scenario in the face of symptoms. Objective: To analyze national and international scientific publications in the field of public health, aiming at understanding the manifestation of depression in fibromyalgia. Methodology: Conduct a literature review through articles published in national and international journals in the last 5 years focusing on the manifestations of symptoms of depression in patients with fibromyalgia. Conclusion: Since FM is a chronic pain directly associated with manifestations of PD, it can be of a primary order, when a depressive factor leads the individual to a condition reactive to disease, or secondary, when the disease causes the individual to trigger PD. Therefore, the coexistence of both diseases can cause great damage to health, requiring further studies in this area.
