MANEJO DO PACIENTE COM HEMATOMA SUBDURAL CRÔNICO
INTRODUÇÃO: O Hematoma Subdural Crônico (HSDC) representa um dos tipos mais frequentes de hemorragia intracraniana, é caracterizado por uma deposição crônica de coágulo no espaço subdural, geralmente com prognóstico favorável. É uma condição neurocirúrgica frequente, normalmente associada a uma história prévia de trauma. OBJETIVOS: Realizar um levantamento bibliográfico acerca do manejo do paciente com hematoma subdural crônico. METODOLOGIA: Trata-se de uma revisão da literatura na base de dados da Biblioteca Virtual em Saúde (BVS). Os artigos foram coletados no período de junho de 2020. Foram utilizados os descritores: Hematoma Subdural Crônico, Neurologia, Traumatismos Craniocerebrais e Tratamento, como critério de inclusão foram considerados: texto completo, idioma português, espanhol e inglês, que retratassem a temática em estudo, publicados com o recorte temporal de 2015 a 2020, e como critério de exclusão: textos repetidos, incompletos e que não focaram no tema exposto. RESULTADOS E DISCUSSÃO: Dentro dessas buscas foram encontrados 20 artigos. Ao final das análises, 8 artigos foram incluídos na revisão, porque melhor se enquadraram no objetivo proposto. De acordo com a literatura o HSDC é considerado uma lesão benigna, ainda que cronicamente progressiva, porem se não houver um diagnóstico e tratamento precoce pode ser fatal devido às complicações ocasionadas pelo mesmo. CONCLUSÃO: Conclui-se que o HSDC é uma doença frequente e que ainda está associado à morbidade e mortalidade significantes, sendo importante o manejo do paciente de forma precisa e rápida, através do diagnóstico e tratamento precoce dos casos.

Abstract:
INTRODUCTION: Chronic Subdural Hematoma (HSDC) represents one of the most frequent types of intracranial hemorrhage, characterized by chronic clot deposition in the subdural space, usually with a favorable prognosis. It is a frequent neurosurgical condition, usually associated with a previous history of trauma. OBJECTIVES: To carry out a bibliographic survey about the management of patients with chronic subdural hematoma. METHODOLOGY: This is a review of the literature in the database of the Virtual Health Library (VHL). The articles were collected in the period of June 2020. The descriptors were used: Chronic Subdural Hematoma, Neurology, Craniocerebral Trauma and Treatment, as inclusion criteria were considered: full text, Portuguese, Spanish and English, which depicted the theme under study , published with the time frame from 2015 to 2020, and as an exclusion criterion: repeated, incomplete texts that did not focus on the exposed theme. RESULTS AND DISCUSSION: Within these searches, 20 articles were found. At the end of the analysis, 8 articles were included in the review, because they best fit the proposed objective. According to the literature, HSDC is considered a benign lesion, even if it is chronically progressive, but if there is no diagnosis and early treatment it can be fatal due to the complications caused by it. CONCLUSION: It is concluded that HSDC is a frequent disease and that it is still associated with significant morbidity and mortality, being important to manage the patient accurately and quickly, through the diagnosis and early treatment of cases.
