MANEJO AO PACIENTE COM AMPUTAÇÕES MULTIPLAS: UM RELATO DE EXPERIÊNCIA
OBJETIVO: Descrever a experiência de discentes no cuidado a paciente com amputações múltiplas. METODOLOGIA: Estudo descritivo, tipo relato de experiência, realizado por discentes do Curso de Enfermagem de uma universidade pública, em hospital público do Estado do Piauí. RESULTADOS: Os questionamentos e aflições da família e do paciente foram rotineiramente observados, diante da forma de falar com os profissionais, pelas expressões de medo e apreensão. Essas circunstâncias demandaram a atuação de equipe multiprofissional a fim de esclarecer dúvidas e orientar quanto aos cuidados e o prognóstico. As orientações perpassaram as condições físicas e alcançaram os cuidados com a saúde mental do paciente. Durante esse processo o vínculo foi se desenvolvendo, de modo a aumentar a confiança do paciente e dos familiares na equipe. CONCLUSÃO: A aceitação da condição em que o paciente se encontra e como se sente com relação as amputações devem ser foco da assistência de enfermagem, pois possibilitam a integração da família no cuidado. Ademais, essa experiência proporcionou aos discentes entender a conjuntura do quadro e desenvolver um cuidado humano pautado no saber científico, agregando valor a formação profissional.

Abstract:
OBJECTIVE: To describe the experience of students in caring for patients with multiple amputations. METHODS: Descriptive study, type of experience report, carried out by students of the nursing Course at a public university, in a public hospital in the State of Piauí. RESULTS: The questions and afflictions of the family and the patient were routinely observed, given the way of talking to the professionals, due to the expressions of fear and apprehension. These circumstances demanded the performance of a multidisciplinary team in order to clarify doubts and provide guidance regarding care and prognosis. The guidelines went through the physical conditions and reached the patient's mental health care. During this process, the bond developed, in order to increase the trust of the patient and family in the team. CONCLUSION: Acceptance of the condition the patient is in and how he / she feels about the amputations should be the focus of nursing care, as they enable the integration of the family in care. In addition, this experience provided students with an understanding of the situation in the framework and the development of human care based on scientific knowledge, adding value to professional training.
