MÃES DE UTI RELATO DE DOR E ESPERANÇA
Estudo qualitativo do tipo estudo de caso com o objetivo de verificar a realidade vivenciada pelas mães da UTI neonatal do Hospital São Vicente de Paulo do Município de Guarapuava, especificamente analisar as condições emocionais, estruturais e necessidades encontradas ao longo do internamento. Utilizaram-se técnicas participativas, sendo realizados três grupos focais e conversas individuais. Investigaram-se seis mães de bebês que estavam admitidos na UTI Neonatal da referida unidade. Nos resultados surgiram os sentimentos de tristeza, medo, culpa, confiança e esperança. Ao término do estudo foram propostas ações e atividades que contribuam na melhora da qualidade de vida da mãe e do recém-nascido durante a hospitalização.

Abstract:
This is a qualitative case study with the objective of verifying the reality experienced by mothers of the neonatal ICU of the São Vicente de Paulo Hospital of Guarapuava, specifically to analyze the emotional, structural and needs encountered during hospitalization. Participatory techniques were used, with three focus groups and individual conversations. Six mothers of infants admitted to the neonatal ICU of this unit were investigated. In the results appeared the feelings of sadness, fear, guilt, confidence and hope. At the end of the study, actions and activities were proposed that contribute to the improvement of the mother and newborn quality of life during hospitalization.
