LIÇÕES DA PANDEMIA PARA UMA BIOÉTICA DA RESPONSABILIDADE
Diante do cenário da pandemia da COVID-19, declarada no início de 2020, vemos transformações e manifestações das capacidades das ações humanas frente aos desafios impostos. A alta taxa de disseminação do vírus já é um fator preocupante, apresentando como agravante a crescente onda de fake news associadas ao tema, desde o uso de medicações e terapias sem comprovação científica até ao descrédito no desenvolvimento das vacinas, até o momento a única arma efetiva para impedir um desastre humanitário ainda maior. Devemos, então, lançar mão da Bioética e seus ensinamentos como ferramenta que nos esclarece e orienta às melhores formas de lidar com esse desafio atual e os próximos.

Abstract:
Against the scenario of the COVID-19 pandemic, declared at the beginning of 2020, we see transformations and manifestations of the capacities of human actions in the face of imposed challenges. The high rate of spread of the virus is already a worrying factor, aggravated by the growing wave of fake news associated with the topic, from the use of medications and therapies without scientific proof to the discredit in the development of vaccines, so far the only weapon effective to avert an even greater humanitarian disaster. We must, then, make use of Bioethics and its lessons as a tool that clarifies and guides us to the best ways to deal with this current challenge and the ones to come.
