LICENCIAMENTO AMBIENTAL DE EMPREENDIMENTOS MINERÁRIOS EM ÁREAS CÁRSTICAS NO MUNICÍPIO DE OUROLÂNDIA NO PERÍODO DE 2007 A 2014
As áreas cársticas apresentam uma maior fragilidade frente a empreendimentos e atividades potencialmente poluidoras/degradadoras devido à presença de atributos de grande sensibilidade e elevado valor histórico, cultural e ecológico, como fósseis, pinturas e gravuras rupestres, material arqueológico e biota específica. O Licenciamento Ambiental nessas áreas deve prever estratégias específicas para garantir a preservação desses atributos e permitir o desenvolvimento econômico da região. O processo de regularização das empresas de extração e beneficiamento de rochas ornamentais no município de Ourolândia/Ba demandou comprometimento dos diversos atores para fins de minimização dos impactos ambientais.

Abstract:
The karstic areas present a greater fragility in the face of potentially polluter-depleting enterprises and activities due to the presence of attributes of great sensitivity and high historical, cultural and ecological value, such as fossils, rock paintings and engravings, archaeological material and specific biota. Environmental Licensing in these areas should provide specific strategies to ensure the preservation of these attributes and allow the economic development of the region. The process of regularization of the companies of extraction and processing of ornamental rocks in the city of Ourolândia / Ba required commitment of the various actors for minimizing environmental impacts.
