LEVANTAMENTO ETNOBOTÂNICO DE PLANTAS MEDICINAIS COMERCIALIZADAS NO MERCADO DO VER-O-PESO, BELÉM - PA E NA FEIRA CENTRAL DE CAPANEMA - PA
A espécie humana utiliza as plantas para cunho medicinal a milhares de anos, o que resultou no surgimento da etnobotânica: área da ciência que estuda a relação do homem com as plantas. Diante disso, o presente trabalho tem como objetivo avaliar as principais plantas medicinais comercializadas atualmente no mercado do Ver-o-Peso (Belém-PA) e em feiras livres de Capanema (PA) e suas respectivas indicações terapêuticas empíricas, relatadas pelos vendedores raizeiros. Para obtenção dos dados, foi realizada uma entrevista semiestruturada com a aplicação de um questionário. Entre os comerciantes entrevistados, foram verificadas 88 espécies de ervas medicinais comercializadas com maior frequência no Mercado do Ver-o-peso e apenas 20 na cidade de Capanema – PA. Como forma de consumo da erva, as folhas foram as estruturas mais citadas, com 54% no mercado do Ver-o-Peso, enquanto que em Capanema a casca foi a mais citada como estrutura de utilização, com 47,36%. O chá foi o mais indicado, tanto no Ver-o-peso, quanto em Capanema com 71% e 95% respectivamente. Em relação às indicações terapêuticas, as que mais foram citadas estão na categoria de anti-inflamatório no Ver-o-peso e em Capanema no sistema digestivo.

Abstract:
The human species has used plants for medicinal purposes for thousands of years, which resulted in the emergence of ethnobotany: an area of science that studies the relationship between man and plants. In view of this, the present work aims to evaluate the main medicinal plants currently sold in the Ver-o-Peso market (Belém-PA) and in free fairs in Capanema (PA) and their respective empirical therapeutic indications, reported by the root sellers. To obtain the data, a semi-structured interview was conducted with the application of a questionnaire. Among the interviewed traders, 88 species of medicinal herbs traded more frequently in the Ver-o-peso Market and only 20 in the city of Capanema - PA were verified. As a form of consumption of the herb, the leaves were the most cited structures, with 54% in the Ver-o-Peso market, while in Capanema the bark was the most cited as use structure, with 47.36%. Tea was the most indicated, both in Ver-o-peso, and in Capanema with 71% and 95% respectively. Regarding therapeutic indications, the ones that were most cited are in the anti-inflammatory category in Ver-o-peso and in Capanema in the digestive system.
