LABORATÓRIO DE PESQUISA EM TURISMO NA PERSPECTIVA DA EDUCAÇÃO EM TURISMO
da educação em Turismo,
é uma combinação e configura-se como um
recente campo de estudos e pesquisas na
área das Ciências Sociais. O presente trabalho
visa analisar a importância do Laboratório de
Pesquisa em Turismo – LATUR da Universidade
Federal do Rio Grande - FURG campus Santa
Vitória do Palmar no desenvolvimento do
Ensino em Turismo. Os objetivos específicos da
pesquisa são: realizar pesquisas bibliográficas
sobre o tema proposto, compreender o projeto
de implantação do Laboratório e a analisar
a aplicabilidade do conhecimento científico
na área através do LATUR. Neste sentido, o
estudo da epistemologia critica a formação
acadêmica voltada somente para a formação
profissional e técnica. A metodologia utilizada
se caracteriza como pesquisa qualitativa de
caráter exploratório através de pesquisas
bibliográficas. Considera-se que este trabalho
além de promover o Laboratório de Pesquisa
em Turismo - LATUR torna-se uma alternativa
para o desenvolvimento local e regional de
abrangência da FURG através da consolidação
de projetos de ensino, pesquisa e extensão
com base no conhecimento científico gerado
pelo laboratório.

Abstract:
Considering the development of
education in Tourism, it is a combination and
is configured as a recent field of studies and
research in the area of Social Sciences. The
present research aims to analyze the importance
of the Research Laboratory in Tourism - LATUR
of the Federal University of Rio Grande -
FURG Santa Vitória do Palmar campus in the
development of Tourism Education. The specific
objectives of the research are: to carry out
bibliographic research on the proposed theme,
to understand the project of implantation of
the Laboratory and to analyze the applicability
of scientific knowledge in the area through
LATUR. In this sense, the study of epistemology
criticizes the academic formation focused only
on professional and technical training. The methodology used is characterized as
qualitative exploratory research through bibliographic research. This work, in addition to
promoting the Tourism Research Laboratory - LATUR, is considered to be an alternative
to the local and regional development of the FURG through the consolidation of teaching,
research and extension projects based on the scientific knowledge generated by the
laboratory.
