LA OBESIDAD INFANTIL EN LA CIUDAD DE MÉXICO: UNA MIRADA AL JARDÍN DE NIÑO
El presente documento da cuenta de una investigación realizada en 21 jardines de niños de la Ciudad de México. La investigación tuvo como objetivo conocer la percepción de los padres de familia y profesoras de preescolar respecto al sobrepeso y la obesidad. Se presentan los resultados de la aplicación de dos cuestionarios: Uno a padres de familia y otro a docentes. Los resultados muestran que los adultos involucrados en la educación de los niños reconocen la importancia de prevenir el sobrepeso y la obesidad desde los espacios familiares y escolares.

Abstract:
This document reports on an investigation carried out in 21 kindergartens in Mexico City. The objective of the research was to know the perception of parents and preschool teachers regarding overweight and obesity. The results of the application of two questionnaires are presented: One for parents and other for teachers. The results show that adults involved in the children´s education, recognize the importance of preventing overweight and obesity from family and school.
